The Meterly launch website does not ask you to create an account, enter payment information, or submit an email address. We do not add analytics, advertising trackers, third-party embeds, or marketing cookies. We do not operate an email waitlist on this website.
If you choose to email [email protected], we receive your email address and the information you include in your message to respond to your request. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.
Our hosting provider may process ordinary technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. This is distinct from advertising or behavioral analytics.
2. The planned Meterly app
Meterly is being designed to read parking sign text directly on your iPhone. In the experience shown on this website, sign photos are not uploaded to a server or kept after reading. You will not need an account, and sign reading is intended to work offline.
Parking timers, reminder settings, and any estimated savings you choose to record are intended to remain on your device. They are not intended to be shared with Meterly or other users automatically. Device backups may be governed by your Apple settings.
3. Permissions stay in your hands
The planned app will request camera access to read signs and notification permission if you choose parking reminders. You can change these permissions in iPhone Settings. Denying a permission may limit its related feature.
4. Sharing is your choice
If you choose to share a parking summary or reminder image, the information you share will be sent to the app or person you select. Their privacy practices will then apply. Nothing is posted publicly by default.
5. Your choices and local data
You can browse this website without registering or submitting personal information. For the planned local-only app, data controls and deletion instructions will be included in the final policy at launch. No account deletion is expected to be necessary because no account is planned.
6. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. It does not include forms that knowingly collect personal information from children.
